Bass: carved (not plywood) 3/4 or 4/4 size, adjustable bridge, adjustable endpin long enough for a tall standing player, sharp tip. Full circle pickup, or Underwood with impedance matching preamp (e.g. Fishman). Spirocore or gut strings.

Amplifier:
Depends on the size of the room. Preferred: minimum 350 watts, 1x15” speaker.

Tech rider: Classical Bass

Carved (not plywood) 3/4 or 4/4 size, adjustable bridge, adjustable endpin long enough for a tall standing player, sharp tip. Not Spirocore or unwrappedgut strings.

Tech rider: Rock, Blues Bass

Preferred Bass: American made Fender Precision, fretted, four strings, flatwound.

Amplifier:
First choice: Ampeg SVT Classic tube amp with matching 8x10” bottom.
Second choice: Fender Bassman Pro with matching 8x10” or 6x10” bottom.
Third choice: Modern bass amp (Markbass or comperable), 350 watts minimum. Bottom: at least 4x10”, 2x15”, or 2x10” + 1x15”

Tech rider: Live Electronic Music

PA capable of very loud stereo playback, with subwoofers.

Video screen at the back of the stage, large, readable by everyone in the house.

Table: reasonable height for standing, space for one large laptop computer, a small audio interface and two drinks. Sitting stool if the set is planned for over 30 minutes.

I will be sending a stereo audio feed (1/4”) and html video feed.
